Gerberafest!
Hi, all. Just wanted to let you know that if you're looking for gerbera daisies, we have 'em, and we have a ton of them. This is probably the best crop of gerberas that we have ever grown.

There may be two or three runts in the group, but the rest of them are absolutely gorgeous. We have a few batches of solid colors, as well as a couple batches of mixed colors. If you've never grown gerberas before, their culture is really very simple: full to partial sun (partial sun will bring bigger leaves and blooms), and average water and fertilizer requirements. One feeding a week with Miracle-Gro® is enough to keep them growing and blooming all season.

If you're going to grow them in pots all season, these are going to need potted-up in another couple weeks or so (they're in six-inch pots right now). As always, potted plants are going to need a little more water than those planted in the ground, so be sure to not let them dry out too much in pots.
Gerberas will also grow very well in the ground, by the way.
I should also mention that we still have plenty of hanging baskets left, but if you want them, they're starting to move out pretty fast, so you may want to get yours soon. We're still in good shape on everything else at this writing.

Watch the frost!
